The Scarlett Fund was founded to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research in honor of Scarlett James who was diagnosed with lymphoma at age 6. Dance For Hope begun our connection with the Scarlett Fund in 2024, and we participate in the various card projects for children battling cancer at Sloan Kettering Hosptial in New York City. Bronxville's special education program, within the Bronxville Union Free School District, aims to identify and support students with disabilities through a variety of services, including special classes, resource rooms, speech and language therapy, and occupational/physical therapy. Dance For Hope collaborates with Special Education students to develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and a sense of giving back to people with diverse life experiences. This card project focused on bringing hope and cheer to children who could use some extra love and smiles for Valentines Day!
